The Role:

• Be a part of the quality control department by using scientific knowledge skill set and by assisting the Chemist into day-to-day operations in the laboratory and production area.
• Clean Laboratory Glassware and assure all are in good condition
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment use to perform analytical test.
• Quality Control testing of finished products, raw materials, in-process materials, fully formulated samples, new supplier samples and environmental samples to support plant operations
• Maintain good housekeeping in and safety in the laboratory
• Comply with manufacturer and company requirements with hazardous substances.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies and relevant legislation.
• Abide by EH&S policies and procedures
• Assisting in other reasonable duties to assist the overall company’s success
• Decanting + Manual lifting

Criteria:

• Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role
• Certificate III in Laboratory Techniques (Minimum requirement)
• HPLC experience
• GC experience
• Particle Size experience
• Formulation process
• Strong in managing self, team relationships and work processes
• Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• High Risk Forklift Licence (Desirable)
• Basic Machine Operating skills
• Fit and able to lift 20kgs
• National Police Clearance & ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol
